Would it be better to purchase a lab ***** of our own and then hip and eye test both before breeding? How old must the ***** be? We thaught that breeding both from home would result in pups having lovely nature and temprement, please please serious dog breeders to answer only, all advice greatly accepted.

Since adopting my 2.5 year old female cat from the local humane society, I have been feeding her Eukanuba adult chicken & rice formula. She likes it well enough, but I've been looking at a few other foods and thinking maybe I should switch/upgrade.

First up, "Chicken Soup..." brand seems pretty popular, and I've heard that Innova Evo is the absolute best there is (with no fillers and 50% protein content). I won't buy Iams or Science Diet, as those are technically WORSE than Eukanuba.

Anyone have any experience with the foods I mentioned?

(Please don't waste my time with silly answers)

I do not see a real risk to others if you are a responsible owner. They are very special animals, very loving and close companions.

Our beloved dog just delivered 2 pups about 11 days ago. She just died yesterday after being bitten by a rattlesnake (we live in a rural area) & even the anti-venom couldn't save her. We are mourning her, but also need to care for her pups. We got puppy formula from the vet, with a small bottle. We assist them in urinating, but have had difficulty with getting them to drink enough and deficate. We lost their mom & would hate to lose them. We have asked-around & called animal control for a surrogate nursing dog to no avail thus far. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jen

ok, please don't give a smart a**.answer. My MaltiPoo is 9 months old. Hes done awesome at potty training. I'm home all day, so hes never hardly ever alone.HGoes t the door BUT, about 5 out of 7 days aweek, for the last 3 weeks,I wake up in the am to a pile of poop on the kit. floor, and lately hes been peeing also on the laun, hamper in the kitchen. The last couple times I caught him peeing, I take him directly outside, and I've been putting him the bathroom with the door shut doing a "timeout" hoping that this will teach him. We don't have a cage. That didn't work, He barked so much that I literraly couldn't take it. He is soooooo spoilled rotten, Its a 10 yr old daughters pup. They do everything together,. I got rid of the cage, and he started sleeping in her beed. that was fine, until he started jupping down and would do in the kitchen and pee on my laundry basket, ,he did it again, all over the hamt.,I grabbed him up tood him over to the pee, and let alittle of it drizzle on him

Since we got her shes got really bad and I mean REALLY bad runs. Yellow Diahorrea oozes out of her even when she is just walking. She doesnt seem in any pain as she is very playful and affectionate. The people we got her off basically got her for their kids and like it happens too much these days it seems she was just a novelty. We know nothing about the diet shes been on, or what agrees and doesnt agree with her. We have 2 other cats, one is 2 and the other is 7. Could it be the stress of moving home? She also has a very large belly and will eat anything you leave lying around, she also needs worming. Can anyone help please? Thanks

we got him in feb.2006 from a friend he was already 7 months old very timid he got close to me and my 13 year old son very fast.now he is very devoted member of my life. though he seems to love the kids (17 year old trista &14 year old brent) he growls whenever they come close to me when he is sleeping with me. i always tell him "jack be good"but he will lunge to anyone who gets near me.he has been fixed and vaccinated but im worried he will nip at the wrong person.
