i named my dog chico and i dont no if thats good or not because some people are confused when i tell them are name for our dog is chico some people get confused faces like its wired?

Chico means man/boy/guy in Spanish, so maybe if its a female dog that would be weird. I had a dog once named Peter, I know thats pretty odd, but it stuck. I wouldnt worry too much, Chico sounds like a good dogs name. Any name works great for a dog, heck call him John, its all the same.

I don't think Chico is a weird name at all. Deep down inside, you really wanted to name your dog that, right? Why change it because other people don't like it? I think it's a lovely and pretty name. Forget them, because your dog's name is very unique and uncommon. The dog's name should be given by you only, not other people. Don't let them change your mind because they don't like it.

Is your dog a Chyuaua? And here's another question: The guys, you know...the one's that made the weird faces.....were they of Hispanic origin? Oh, and here's a third one.....are you hispanic? But wait...is your dog from Spain? Or perhaps Mexico? Final one: Is there anything remotely having to do with Spanish/Mexican origin in you, your dog...or your friends? If you answered no to any of those, then yes...it's a weird name.

it's unique, but to some people it might sound like some kind of mexican food. if it's possible, you might wanna change it since you're creative enough to come up with chico. i'm sure you can think of a better one.
