I have a cat her name is Iris, I don't think of her as a pet she's more like a best friend or my baby, Is that weird?
I would like to hear what you have to say about your cat, whoever has the best story and it has to be true, gets 10 points.
:-)

Why do dogs always howl when they hear emergency sirens and whistles? I find that so funny.

I just want to see how much a pitbull, doberman, great dane, rottwhiler, bulldog, and other strong dogs can pull, carry lift or anything, just to see how strong they can get,

This question is not to fite dogs, just to see how strong dogs are.

Seven months ago I bought two baby female sugar gliders. Now, there's someone who wants to get rid of one who is three years old that I would love to take in! I've looked around online for ideas of ways to introduce them to each other, but was wondering if anyone had any first hand experiences and tips! Thank you!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...

He is 9 months old. I recently got a job, and he had to be home alone for much of the day. He never was a chewer or anything like that, so we let him have free run of the house. Well one day he got bored and chewed up my rug. He swallowed about 4 feet of carpet and it caused a blockage in his small intestine. He also chewed up his frisbee. The pieces of plastic got caught in the carpet and it ended up tearing the lining of his intestine, also causing infection, and inflammation. Anyway...since he's been home ( he spent 7 days with the vet) I've been doing what she told me, but now he's trying to eat every piece of other dog poop he can find. He has NEVER been interested in other dog poop before. I would ask the vet, but we went on the economy since it was an emergency. And she doesn't know enough english words to explain it to me. So...does anyone know why dogs eat poop? Sorry for the long drawn out details...........

My cousin took his dog to the lake and everything was fine until he noticed that his dog was up on a ledge (like a fifteen foot drop) and he saw her running and trying to stop but ended up flying over the edge. She landed in water but the water was only like a foot or two deep. She appears healthy and happy and ok, but should he take her to the vet just incase?? After she jumped she just ran out of the water (still playing) and all, and ran back in jumping and just having a blast. She is about a year or so old, and is a daschound... may have spelled that incorrectly

Ok, well we are getting a kitten tomorrow, and we have a chihuahua. When we got Spencer (the chi) we got a baby's play pen to keep him in so we could start the process of getting him to "go" on paper. Well, he is older now, and trained successfully (sp) and we're thinking of using the same baby play pen to litter train a kitten. If we keep him/her confined to one room and in that playpen until it goes to the bathroom will it work or what?? I am confused here kinda lol. Also, dont they get used to going to the bathroom in one place and if you move the box it will throw them off? So, like if we were to train it that way would we have to keep it there or would it just be better to start off in the place we plan to put the litter box? ALSO, someone said to keep the box up away from Spencer's reach but if we dont know where to put it where the kitten can get it... Also, there is one more thing we are kind of concerned about and that would be the fact that most people let out their cats

I am adopting a Female Chihuahua In a few weeks, Locally. . (No, not because some Pop Diva's carry them in their purses, I have wanted one for years, but there is a time and place for everything. I now have stability)She will be between 8-10 weeks. I have always had large dogs (shepards, Hounds, etc.) So I am a bit lost on this! I have purchased a 24' top of the line crate, with a divider to adjust the crate size as she grows, Puppy training pads, bedding, and food. I feel I am still missing something! What size bowls did you use? should they be elevated? Did you buy toys? What kind? Grooming? House training advice? It has been so long since we've had a puppy in the house, and we've certainly never had one so small! Do any of you seasoned Chihauhua/small dog owners have any advice?

Hello, I am considering on whether to get a Siamese cat. However, I've had past experiences where I allowed my cats to roam around the garden and out of my compound but after a few years they would either get knocked down by vehicles OR not return home after heavy rain. I was wondering, is it possible to train a siamese cat to roam around my garden and not leave the compound of my house? In a nice sort of way and not violent or anything. Thanks in advance.
