She is near ending her biting stage as a pup but now she is starting to suck on peoples finger, litterally. Why? and Is that Natural?

Yes that is natural, it is a "mommy/baby" connection which is a good thing. that means she is socializing well. be sure to keep up with socialization too. Also, she is in the teething stage. my dog started losing her baby teeth about the same time. So she might not just be sucking. Go to the pet store and buy a Nylabone that is DURABLE not FLEXIBLE. the flexible will break off into pieces which is no good for the little baby's digestive tract. The durable is good because when she chews it'll help her teeth loosen to fall out more easily. It is okay if she swallows her baby teeth, they'll naturally pass through. Another good teething toy is a stiff rope rather than a flimsy rope. Dogs LOVE the rope, it's great for teething. Don't get Chilly Bone. It thaws too fast and gets everything wet. My dogs never took to it. Good Luck!

Its a comfort thing, does she do it wen she is tired or stressed? Shes still only young. Does she do it too just anyone or certain people in particular? my kitty is nearly 6mths old and often sits on my chest and pushes it with her paws and licks just as she would to get milk from her mum. If she does it to everyone for no reason maybe its something on their fingers she finds yummy? If so just tell her firmly 'NO' and pull her away and distract her. Has she got all her big teeth yet? could be a teething thing. If it continues regardless then ask ur vet.

Any pup would suck on anything. Most likely you stick your finger out to her and she sucks it naturaly.

she is sucking because she is still a baby and it is an instinct. It is perfectly natural so don't worry.
