I just paid $50 for a heat treatment for my mare and it didn't work. Any suggestions are welcome.

I just got a brand new 8 weeks old boston terrier. It has been about 3 days since i have had some good sleep. He barks as soon as he wakes up and this is pretty frequently through out the night. How can i tell if he is barking because he wants to potty or just want to get out of his crate to be with me. as soon as he barks, i usually wake up and take him outside waits till he pees then praise him and then put him back to his crate. afterwards he just wont stop barking. at first i open up his crate to let him go again but he doesnt do anything but go to sleep by my feet when he is outside so now i ignore him and just leave him in his cage (after i put him back in for peeing) but it has been three days and he is still barking. when is he going to learn that barking wont get my attention? help.... i need sleep.

I have two parakeets...one learned to perch on my finger in just a few weeks but the other one is so stubborn and refuses to go any where near my hand! I want my trained one to learn how to talk and I want my other one to feel comfortable with my hand.

I give my cat a bath once a week and everytime he will get real stiff like it almost paralyzes him and then he will pee. I use just regular cat fleat and tick shampoo, could that be causing it? After I get him out of the bath he will be stiff for awhile kinda like he's paralyzed but after i get him dryed off about 10-15 mins. later he is ok.

Did it embarrass you enough that you quit talking to your animal?

I think it's beneficial to talk to your animals like they're a person and can understand you, unless you overanthromorphize them like people who dress thier dogs up in little outfits and raise their paw to make them 'wave goodbye.'
