I have a 3-year-old cat who eats Royal Canin Indoor Cat Formula 37, and I have a 4-month-old kitten I started on Iams Kitten. I don't know if it's just because he wants to do what my other cat does, but he won't eat his own food---he likes to eat hers! Some of his food looks to be gone, too, so I don't know if they're eating each other's or if he's eating out of both. So this is kind of a two-parter:

1. Will eating the other's food hurt either one of them?
2. How can I get them to stick to their own dishes?

I just got my new puppy 2 days ago. He was going to be put down, and since he was the runt the lady said that the other dogs picked on him, bit him, and just terrorized him a little. After examination, we noticed he has 2 small 1/4" black grey scaly spots on his ears, and maybe 5 or 6 more on either side of his rear flanks. He is also very shy, and will play for around 15 min, and then sleep for 2 hrs. He has no drainage from eyes or nose, doesnt apear to have a fever, has a healthy appetite, and is already responding very well to house breaking. Besides the spots, wich dont look that bad really, and the sleeping all the time and the shyness, hes the perfect little puppy. He seems really submissive, not sure if thats cause hes the runt, or what, but im just wondering does anyone out there have any ideas about those spots. do u think the submisive behaivor, and the shyness are related to the spots? Not sure if im just being to careful, but would like to know what to do.

Tonight as I left my house to go to the store I heard a pittiful sounding cat across the street when I got over there It was a very small kitten. just a few weeks old there were no othe kittens or cats around so I think it got lost so...
what should I feed it since I can't let it starve and other advice would you have? It is very little.

I'm looking after my sisters dog and the bloody mutt has just woken me up at 2:30 A.M. as there are a few little rumbles of thunder off in the distance, should I kill the damned thing and go back to bed or what? I'm not too happy

I have used Frontline on my dog for a couple of years and I have never noticed any problems with his skin but when I put it on this month he has scabs in the exact area where I put it. He is a buff colored cocker spaniel and has sensitive skin but like I said it has never bothered him in the past. Has anyone experienced this and what could it be? I am afraid it is burning his skin and I don't want to hurt him just to keep fleas off.

I keep fresh water for her inside, but she will go in search of water outside, the pond, rainwater that has collected in chairs etc, even licks the driveway when there is water on it. If I pour water in my hand outside she will drink it, if I put it in a bowl, she won't. I might add she is neurotic in other matters too.

I have done a lot of research on dog breeds and would like any personal experience that anyone has had. I have a small child (she will be around 2 when we get the dog), I am a stay at home mom. My husband will be traveling a LOT for work soon so I would like a good watch dog. We have a place with a nice size yard, but the dog will be an inside dog. I would like a breed good with kids (most are if raised with them), and a good watch dog the dog doesnt have to be a guard dog, but it would be nice to feel protected. We do not have any other dogs, however we do visit family often with several other dogs on acerage. Any personal experience would be helpful. Thanks for your time!

I went to the vet, but all they said was that she is too agressive when it comes to cutting her nails. What should I do? My dog just doesnt let me or my vet cut her nails!

These are on the edges and backs of his ears, are flat and shiny, and are spreading to his face.

Our cat who is 9 has started to go to the toilet in different places throughout our apartment (we moved into it 3 wks ago from a duplex)
At first he was going in his box we placed in our on-suite bathroom, but now he is leaving 'calling cards' in different areas which is very puzzling to us.
