I got a dog from a person who I found out maybe disbarred from registering dogs with the Canadian Kennel Club, but can not find on the ckc site where they post people's names who have been disciplined by ckc. Anyone know? thanks

Hi, I'm being taken to court by a dog breeder named Esther Neuman and am looking for other people who have had dealings with her to provide a character reference for her, positive or negative. I would appreciate your assistance.

I have a beagle puppy that's 12-13 weeks old, and she WILL NOT stop biting us. It's not an aggressive bite...just little nips, but her baby teeth are so sharp they can really hurt. She also gets really wound up when playing with us (especially with my 6 year old!)...she barks and nips and just won't stop. Again, I don't think it's aggression...her barks are playful yaps, without any growling, and her tail is constantly wagging. She just needs to settle down! Any suggestions?

That sounds funny, I'm sure, but my dog--he's 1 1/2 yrs--digs in the cat litter box with his face. It's so gross. It makes his breath stink, and it scatters the litter on the floor. We've tried moving the litter box to a very inconspicuous place, but he gets it whenever he has a chance. The thing is, he knows it's bad. When he comes out of the room after doing it, he sneaks around with his tail tucked ... Any training/discipline suggestions?

I have to cats called Princess and Perry, bolth of them are spayed and nutered. Perry is a nutered male, Princess spayed female. Princess is sometimes pushed around by Perry, this morning she was growling and tried to hide from Perry. I'm not sure what to do. It is not that serious, but I need some advice on what might cause this, and how to stop it. Thanks!

fish swimming at the bottom of bowl. fish in curved position with head and tail bent. if you move the tank then the fish will move otherwise just sits at bottom of bowl. Looks as if his gills are moving but rarely opening mouth. fish won't eat anything and swimming very slowly if at all.

Hi. Me and my wife recently got 2 new male kittens. We already have a 4 year old cat. She is a shy girl. She wont come up to people unless she knows them or feels very comfrtable around them right away (rare) and even when she wants to nuzzle with us she likes to be invited before jumping on you (she will squek to let you know). Anyway we followed all instruction we could find, introducing them slowly even useing plug ins and oils that you put on there ears. Well they haven't gotten into an all out fight but our cat seems pretty scared of them. I am particularly concerned b/c one of the cats is somewhat aggressive (not in a mean way but well he seems like and alpha male). At times I even think he is doing stuff to upset my cat- sitting in her favorite spot when she gets up or tring to keep her away from her litter box. I am not usre about those last things but I feel bad for my cat and I would like to keep them all but I really want her to be happy. Any advice

New Orleans policeman was called to work at Superdrome. He'd called for his dogs to be rescued. When he got home the front door was broken in and the dogs gone but no message was left as to who "rescued" them.

Their pages are at http://lostkatrinapets.com/lucky and http://lostkatrinapets.com/nemo The pictures aren't too clear as they got wet from flood water.

They are Lucky, a wire-haired tricolor JRT and her companion Nemo, a German Shepherd Chow mix that looks like pure Shepherd. He has black halfway down his legs.

A JRT among many taken from a shelter in LA by Muttshack and brought to Atlanta in March looks exactly like Lucky! However, Muttshack has ignored for months our requests for a photo of the dog from the side and more details so we can tell if it is Lucky.

The adopter, we know, had no idea this may not have been an owner turn-in dog. We have no way at present to reach him/her. We hope the adopter will be able to put themselves in the owner's shoes and communicate with us

I always try to think of things that people would really get excited about getting for their birthday. This is the first time I've given a gift to a cat. I know it is somewhat cruel to the mouse, but I know my cat will be really excited and I can't think of any thing that she would be happier with. Besides people buy these mice to feed to their snakes.

I feed my one year old dachshund twice a day with very generous portions of dry dog food. Whenever I take her over to my neighbors' house to visit them (she used to be theirs), she attacks their dogs' canned food like she hasn't eaten for days. It's pretty embarrassing. I feed her a lot and she finishes all of her food everyday. She's just a standard dachshund! Should I feed her more or can she just be an over eater?

it seems to me that lizards hide, and you don't see them. Maybe under the bed or in the closets. How do you get them to come out?

Why do people give me such a hard time about choosing not to neuter my dog? I plan to breed him with my female. Plus he's really well behaved, never pees on anything, only barks if you play rough with him, I feed him the best food and give him lots of exercise. (two walks a day plus an hour in the backyard running around with me and my husband). What is peoples beef?

Max is about 5/12 years old. I got him from the pound 2 1/2 years ago... He is an excellent dog and never had any problems until about a month ago, he peed in my bed when I wasn't home. He has now done this 4 times... Today I left for 2 hours and when I came home discovered it... I can't catch him in the act. I am at a loss... and am about to freak out on him, I cannot let this go on! Someone said he might have a blatter infection or something, but he seems to be going just fine any other time!!!! I thought if I gave him more attention, which I have been taken him on more frequent walks.. but nothing seems to be helping!!! What should I do??????

Im breeding my bettas and my male built a HUGE bubblenest. The female is showing her verticle lines, and the male flared for her, i put them together but there not doing ANYTHING. I thought they were supposed to face eachother, and do kind of a "dance", then go under the nest and breed. I had a female in there befor this one, and they were interested in eachother, but never bred(at least i didnt see them). So, i switched her after about a day (LIKE I WAS TOLD TO DO). I really want to breed them, and i need GOOD advice. (could it be possible they bred at night when i was asleep, how can i tell?) PLEASE, i need tips from experienced betta owners, or breeders!!! WHY WONT THEY BREED?????
