I had that same trouble bout a month ago, I just left my 2 chi's run the house they played and when the time was right they got together 4 times, now she is with puppies and due the end of the month. I read the gestation is 60-63 days or something like that. good luck

As a breeder I would never breed my dog on first heat. Like humans, they can develop osteoperosis if bred too early. She's entirely too young if it's just the first heat. Her body and chemicals haven't come together in the right order for things to start happening naturally - like you wouldn't allow a 12 year-old human to go out and get pregnant.
I would also take my animals to the vet and make sure they don't have any hereditary problems like mange, heart and/or other skin problems (which chi's are known for). This is for your own protection as a breeder - assumming you plan on selling them for a pet quality price with some kind of guarantee for health.

Just like us humans dogs are born with the sense of how to do it and when but like us they too have to get the hang of it.
It may be that you just need to leave them alone for a while and when and if they become ready they will achieve your goal. However your female may not want to have sex because she realizes that for some reason it would hurt her or even could kill her. Being such a small creature this has been know to happen you might need to have her vet checked before you attempt anything.

Since your female is a witch...tell her to use her magic & conjure up a good 'sex education' guide for the male who "doesn't know how to do it..." Hopefully, the male knows how to read, if not, she'll have to slap on a video or CD....

Put them by theirself and they will. Now a female will not let the male have her until after the first week of her heat cycle. When she is ready she will let him get her.

from my dog to dog luv exp just lock em up togther in a large kennel or room... it takes time..the first heat is dficult
