Good luck getting anything rather than an auto response from Yahoo.
This is a really old SCAM. It has been around a long time. But there are always people that are new to the Internet and tend to trust people.
You are lucky you realized it before you sent money. Actually there isn't much you can do about it.
If they were advertising on a sell site you could report them to the site and they would remove their ad (eventually) but all they would do is re-log in as some one else and start the same crap over again.
To Felix, it is under pets because it involves a scam involving dogs...DAH

You can forward the email, with full headers, to abuse@yahoo.com. Don't be real surprised if you don't get a response other than maybe an immediate autoresponse, since scams, especially from Nigeria, are so common that it's surprising anybody even thinks of falling for them any more.

You can fill out a form to report the abuse. Use this address. If it is not the correct address to help you, they should be able to tell you where to go.

To Felix, the person from Nigeria is running a scam trying to sell non-existant pups. I have seen these ads many times, different yahoo i.d's, emails, etc.

We were just alerted about scams coming out of Nigeria at work. Seems like it's not just bogus puppy selling going on there.
