Moths are nocturnal and ONLY come out at night.

good question. But they are nocturnal. It is just they confuse street lights with bars. They love to party. The bright artificial lights look like neon lights in front of Joe's nectar and grill bar.

Mothes are Nocturnal ... * atleast I THINK they are ... lol ... * plus their atractio to light probibly has somthing to do with it's contrast to the darkness ...

They are, but at night they can separate one specific light from light being everywhere. And they go to that.

easier for them to get food, the finite source during the evening allows for that
