My tarantula undoes his tunnel, bundles up the old silk and leaves it in the middle of the tank before starting a new one, I guess it depends o the type of spider.

Yes. Most web spinners do eat their own web when they're done with it.
This is because the stuff they use to make webs is only in limited supply. If they didnt eat it, they would run out, and have to wait until their body made more, which could take a long time. By eating it, they can re-use it the next time.

I don't know if they undo them, but I have observed three different large brown spiders that live inside small places (one in the grill of a car that isn't running, one inside a metal tube on a windchime and one in a little hole in our porch roof). They pull their web inside with them when they go to sleep and then unfurl it again when they wake up. Pretty different!

As pider doesnt undo its web unless it messes up and it still has to be attached to him.He will fix it if it has a whole in it,And it fixis it after it wrapes its meal.But,no a spider wont ''undo''its web.

I know some spiders eat their webs every morning along with all the catched bugs. Then they respin it at night.
