I posted a long time ago about ready to get a ferret and I had had a few more questions. After alot of consideration and thought, I've decided against getting one. I'de LOVE one some day, after all the research I've done it seems like a great pet to have and experience. But as to anyone buying a pet they are unsure of, or just randomly going out to buy a ferret or rabbit even, it really pays off to do some research into anything exotic. Or anything that you dont know uch about, other than it lives in a cage and drinks water and eats chow. Anyways, my main point for writing here is to thank all those that responded to my ferret concerns and questions I had. It helped me make the right desicsion.

My female dog [shitzu] humps my other female dog taht's her size and she humps that cat too. I'm not joking this is for real. She also eats cat food and doesn't like dog food. We told the vet and he said just don't let her eat too much of it, but is the humping thing normal?

Bailey is 6 months, Rylee is 5 months and on the back of my food for the feeding schedule, at their weight 30-40 pounds it says 2 cups a day! that is hardly anything, and I know this is just a guideline. However, my question is when do I start feeding them less times a day? Thanks

I have twice noticed a couple drops of light greenish/yellow discharge after my 6month Siberian Husky urinates in the last few days. Is this normal for a pup? She is not neutured and seems to be completely healthy in all other respects.

My vet gave me a toothbrush and told me to go get kitty toothpaste and to brush his teeth regularly. Today I tried to brush my cat's teeth for the first time, and it is extremely difficult (of course). I just end up getting it all over his chin and he licks it off. At least he likes the taste! Has anyone ever been successful? Or can anyone offer advice beyond just holding him down really well?

i was supposed to get a new puppy tonight, i paid my deposit on it and was willing to make a 4 hour drive to get it at a farm where the litter was. i got a call about 4 hours ago saying that something got into the barn and attacked a bunch of animals, puppy included and it had to be put to sleep. i'm so upset. we got everything we needed for this dog, and even had a name tag already made up for it with his name. i feel like i miscarried or something. like i never even got to see my baby. what should i do?

My little dachshund Heidi loves to roll on her back to wait for a belly rub. Once you get on your knees to rub her belly, she jumps up and kisses you. She's so adorable! She just jumped at my face to kiss me and her nose hit me hard on my eye. How does your dog greet you?

I have a couple of middle aged dogs that live with me in my home with a yard. They have free run of this yard to potty whereever they want. My girlfriend and I want to live together in her place which has a smallish patio. I have had my dogs there before and the smell of the urine really bothers my GF, even if it is hosed off daily. So that is why I'd like to know if it is possible to get a dog to urinate or poo in a place that would contain the smell, kind of like a litter box.
