Are there any people that are out there that are allerigic to dogs but own a Schnauzer? How have you reacted to having one?

hey yes actually I am allergic to dogs and I own a half schnauzer! and surprisingly I'm only a little allergic to her! Haha! seriously, as long as I don't let her in my bed I never have any allergy problems, but sometimes she sneaks in in the middle of the night and then I wake up all congested!
yea poodles, maltese, and practically anything in the terrier family is going to be basically hypo-allergenic. The problem with my dog is she's half schnauzer half german shepherd...she's so stinkin cute though

Well, I'm a kid so some people are alergic to dogs and sometimes people don't want to get close to dogs and don't want to buy dogs. But some people do.

I have two mini schnauzers and I have allergies. I have no problem with them being around.

i dont have that specific dog but i have a shih tzu and my dad is alergic to dogs but it doesnt bother him at all the dog doesnt shed.

I have heard that poodles are very hypo-allergenic.
