I love nice pitbulls that were raised properly by their owner, and if they werent raised like that then I would dislike any dog that acted that way...pitbulls are good natured family dogs that when raised with the family and treated properly and trained well, can be a wonderful animal to have around. Their breed has gotten a bad rap becasue of all the horror stories. Only thing with those are usually people in those stories didnt have the sense god gave a pickle about the animals they had, otherwise things like that wouldnt have happened

Yes. I happen to enjoy Pits very much and no I have never had one that has been fought.
I am totally against the thought of mistreating any animal in order for them to be better fighting material. First of all why make an animal fight when they just like humans have a tendency to want to do this on their own. Pit bulls have gotten a rather NASTY reputation because of the actions that they have done at the hands of their OWNERS!!!!!!!!!1

Any animal can become a viscous killer if provoked. Yet on the other hand they can be a valuable member of you family if you would just give them the love and attention they so much desire and deserve.

I like pitbulls - I like any dog that is well behaved and doesn't try to bite my hand off. The meanest dog I ever met was a little Dachhund. He wouldn't stop growling at me the entire time I visited with his owner. I had a friend who owned two pitbulls and they were the nicest dogs I could ever hope to meet. It's a shame that a few unscrupulous owners have ruined the reputation of this wonderful dog. Unfortunately, they do tend to be a bit aggressive with other dogs (if well socialized from puppyhood this is much less of a problem) and they do require a firm owner to train them well (as does any large dog), but if you keep their faults in mind, they can be awesome family pets.
Hope this helps!

There has been alot said about these animals. You can never really change what they were bred to do which was fight with other dogs, but you can take the time to properly train them. So yes I do like them, But when people get them and train them to attack I think it is wrong.

I love my pit bull!

Before anyone gets upset...

It's the breeding, ownership and training. With powerful breeds (Pits, Rotties, Shepard's, Chows etc) you must train them and be the alpha in the pack. If you don't, they will and that's when you have lost the battle.

Respect the breeds...and mutts. They need pack leaders or they will do the job for you!

Best wishes!

Love them, beautiful dogs that have a bad rap for being mean. I totally hate those stupid people that agree with BSL.

I also suggest to all of you that think Pit Bulls are mean, to watch this: http://gprime.net/flash.php/thepitbullproblem
