when i walk her with a leash she begins to bite and tug on the leash and thinks we're playing and then when she gets really excited she begins to jump on me!!! i try to stand still and be firm and i say "down!" but she doesnt listen she is only a 4 months old....wat am i doing wrong

I have a ten gallon with a few guppies, mollies and a betta. I have some guppy fry in the tank also separated in a breeder net that are about 6 weeks old, they are starting to get their colors but are still small. I was wondering how big I should let them get before I let them into the tank with the rest of the fish, the betta is not particularly aggressive but I am worried he might see smaller fish as food.

My hamster is acting very wierd. I think she is sick. Her fecies are watery and runny and her tail is constantly wet with diarria (sp?). Her eyes are a little runny and she isn't as active. She won't eat either. What's the matter with her?

I got some guppies a few days ago for my turtle to eat. I want to try to keep them alive for a while, but don't know what they will eat. will they reproduce as fast as I have heard. Is it even a good idea to have these live guppies in my water turtle tank. I put them in there so my turtle could eat them anytime he wanted to. well, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Mustang named "Neehi" (because he's "orange" like Neehi orange soda and he was about knee high when I got him). He got used to me rather quickly and didn't seem to be afraid of anything. I walked him with a leadline after only two days at my house and he was wonderful - a pro at it. When he was three, I started to saddle train him. I put a sack with a little sand in it on his back and let him get used to it. I added more sand every few days. I was able to climb on his back after two weeks of this with no problem. He doesn't like the saddle though. When I try to put it on his back, he bucks and pulls away. Any ideas? I've read about every book out there.

My dog has had three sets of shots, waiting two weeks between each set. The vet said we can't take her outside even for a walk until she gets her rabies shot. This is to prevent her from coming in contact with any diseases or anything until she builds up her immunity. It just seems longer than I remember with my other dogs. She really wants to go outside. How long did you wait with your dog?

HI im looking at getting a Terrier mix from a local animal shelter yuo can see her by looking up Animal Wellfare Society its in Maine. Well any way does any body know how much money every year it costs to maintain one including vet bills, food, etc.? How much would it cost to set it up for the first year? Its 1 1/2 years old spayed and for $150.00 The fee includes the series of vacinations, a heart worm test, internal and external parisite control, a collar with leash and the offer of discounted obedience classes.
