well my aunt loves the dali llama and i live with her and since shes no my real mama i call her llama. shes also my fairy god mother. as for the animal itself, there nice but i tend to attack them. seriously if i go to a petting zoo i get llama stockers. one even kissed me. he licked my cheek. its all a little odd.

I love llamas so much that I had to get some of my own! They are really wonderful animals, aloof, yet gentle and sweet. They are quick learners and fun to train. They enjoy going for walks and they can be trained to do obstacles and wear costumes and even to dance! They don't particulary enjoy being groomed but they learn to tolerate it and they are so beautiful and soft when their fiber is brushed. . They have community "dung piles" that they all use instead of just going anywhere, so they are much cleaner than most livestock and don't have much of a smell. They do spit, but usually only at each other (over food). I have never been spit on and I've been working with llamas for a few years. Usually the only llamas that will spit at people have been abused or mishandled at some point.

they are cute in a funny sort of way. like they are so ugly you just have to love them. I don't really care for them though.
