if she's small enough hold her above shallow water and slowly out her in. let her swim to shore. keep goin deeper and deeper. Make sure the water is calm and no waves. Also check if she is a water breed.

My dog doesn't like water either. We took him to the Dog Beach, he hated it! There's really no way to make them like it. Just A LOT of time and giving them good experiences whenever they're in water. A swimming pool with a lot of people in it to make it fun for the dog might be a good start. Or have it run through the sprinklers on a hot day with lots of people cheering your dog on might help too.

The assumption is that you mean for drinking.
If that is the case, your water supply may have iron or other chemicals in it that the dog doesn't like. Offer him/her distilled water.
If you are talking about your dog not liking to be IN water, that is another issue all together.
Try letting him wade in very shallow water, such as in a child's pool first, then gradually increase the depth of the water.

My dog didn't seem to like water either. We had to have FRESH water in her bowl every time she went to take a drink, or she wouldn't touch it. Try that......and good luck!

You can't make her like it. Just keep it where she can get,and she will take what she wants. She will be fine.
