i do not like how some of yall talking about pit bulls like that and i hope yall know that i have one pit bull a boy and he is a big babbie and if some one try too come by me than he will bark at them utell i say it is okay butout of all the rest of the dog is very scare of people but pit bull will tell them do not come by my master or i will will bit you .....................

The biggest thing I see in the banning of pit bulls is where will it stop? First it's pit bulls, then it will be rottweilers, then german shepards, then who knows. I have more scars on my body from poodles and daschunds than any big dog I ever played with. Granted, pit bulls' aggression is bred into them, but it can be trained out. Most people just don't want to take the time to do this. But just like any other dog, they will protect their owners and property. All dogs can be aggressive, so if they start banning one breed, they will never stop banning breeds. They listen to the few instead of listening to the mass.

The pit bull needs the correct type of breeder to be in charge and the best owner to bring out his loving nature. Training is important for this strong minded dog. He needs socializing with humans being in charge and obedience training to keep him from trying to be in charge in your household (which is part of his nature)
With good direction, he can be very obedient and charming. Firm guidance is the best way to train a pit bull. You do not want the relationship to be of master and slave. He will become a worthy family member with the proper training and love.Any dog is only what an owner makes him/her.

Pit bulls can be great dogs. If you train him not to be aggressive, show him love, know how to control him, he'll be the best dog for you imaginable. They can inflict serious damage when they bite, are sometimes poorly bred, and naturally, these things scare people. I'm sure you have a wonderful pet. Understand that people are just scared. there are no bad animals only bad owners, and it's a shame that people abuse and mistreat the pit bulls , they are wonderful dogs that deserve to be treated with respect and love just like any other dogs , owners should be the ones to be held responsible is a pit bull attacks , not the poor dog who is only doing what the owner teach him to do.

i have a boy pit bull and he's a real red nose pit and he's very cute and cuddly but when someone get's by me or try's to mess with me better believe that my dog is barking

umm yeah, problem is that owners like you are ignorant to the fact that a pitbull can attack even in public and should be muzzled. they are more agressive and it has been proven scientifically. also pitbulls have landed more people in lawsuits than any other dog. if you want a fast way to empty your pockets of money just go try walking that dog in public where lots of people are. you'll get sued so fast these days you wont even be able to cut a fart. any lawyer would take a case on like that. they know its a guaranteed win for their bitten client.
