She's properly fed--rabbit pellets, veggies, hay, so I don't think anything's lacking in her diet. She loves to play with empty TP rolls, but usually she ends up chewing them all to bits and eating the cardboard. To me, she seems healthy enough, no signs of illness. I know that bunnies like to have items to chew on to keep their teeth worn down, yet why would she actually INGEST the cardboard? This can't be good, can it?

I have an extremely nice ferret, but every time it sees my step mom it goes crazy and starts trying to bite her. I think shes going to make me get rid of it. I need sugestions about what to do.

I have a one year old Yorkie. She needs to have her nails clipped and get groomed... The problem is that she is sooooo strong that I can't hold her down to do either. I want to take her to a groomer, but I'm sure they will have the same problem. How do groomers handle dogs like her? Can my vet give her a sedative to put to to sleep or something?? What is common practice for groomers?

I have an African Clawed Frog, and I was just wondering who else has one. What kind of foods do you give yours? What kind of tank? Tankmates? Mine is an Albino, and is a female. Her name is Peace Out Hippie. (Hippie for short) She's getting fat on Shrimp Pellets, and lives with several fish.

She is a 1 year old mixed breed, and she's thrown up every couple days for a little over a week now. In the beginning it was grass and some yellow liquid (stomach acids, I believe). Now it's become food also. Her diet has remained the same until yesterday, where we had a minor change of dog food for several days until we can get her regular kind. There has been no blood in her vomit. She has also had a runny nose. It's a clear, almost water-like liquid, and it hasn't been bad. I notice it drip every so often, and about once a day I make a point to clean any of it off her nose. Does anybody have any ideas as to what she could have, or is she fine?

I am new to Maryland. I have been looking for a purebred pug for over a year now. I have had bad luck with meeting with "breeders" who have showed me mixed pugs and I want a pug, that's it, straight up. Not mixed with anything. For a decent price too, not no $1200 dogs that aren't even registered. In the AA, QA, or Kent Counties. Fawn male with black mask, young.

Ive bought frontline plus, and advantage one week apart. and used them correctly, and I fogged my house for fleas and they still have fleas. Ive bathed them in flea dip too. There must be something we can do. Any one know of anything out there or any home remedies?

This was Pumpkins second appointment/shots and deworming. His first one at 9 weeks, he did not sleep more than usual after. This time, he is still sleeping after6 hours. If I try to wake im, he cries this sad sad cry and falls right back to sleep. Could this be a reaction? Is this normal? Thanks! My friend stays out in the country & has animals Deer, Goats, & horses. Her Deer got sick last night & she told me it was moaning in pain so she had her husband go outside and shoot it. She said it was 1:30 a.m. in the morning. She said she tried to wait till morning to take it to the vet but could not stand it moaning in the night. I was upset with her as I had a dog that became ill in the night 12:30 a.m. to be exact & I called the emergency vet number & they told me to bring the dog in so I did. I am wondering why she could not do that instead of shooting this poor animal. If there was nothing the vet could do they would have put the deer to sleep in a humane way. I told my friend this but she does not see things my way & said just shooting it saved money. Do you think this was wrong?

worms, i can see them in her poop. i told the vet yesturday, he gave me a little tube in wich i need to take a sample of her poopy in to annylis gonna be able to 'till next week.
right now am noticing that her poopy is softer, and stinkier, she's also farting A LOT. am feeding her canned food from trader joes. am only feeding her 2 times a day. do you think i should feed her only dry food till we get to the vet? she also doest seem to like dry food unless she's like starving. what should i do?

I just bought a black 5 year old pug from a breeder. It used to be an outside dog and now she is indoors with us. She will not eat, we mix the dry dog food along with the wet dog food and a hard boiled egg along with warm water like the lady said to do and no go. We tryed just the wet food and no go. The only thing she will now eat is chicken breast cooked and rib bones. She will not eat anything else what can we do?

my guinea pig is 4 years old, his teeth became overgrown and today he got them cut, including his molars. he was under anesthesia and now although he seemed more active he's just sitting in his house. also he doesn't want to eat anything, if anything he has a worse appetite than yesterday before his teeth were filed and he isn't moving around he's just laying in his house looking sad. WHAT IS WRONG?? only answer if yu know what you're talking about, please. the vet didn't tell us anything.

i am looking to buy a yorkie from a breeder in the dc, md, or va area..i am looking to put a deposit down on a new liter that would be ready in late july to early august. anyone know of anyone who has any yorkies to buy i am lookin to spend $500-$1000 on them.
