Depends, it's different at every store and it depends on the breed. They usually range from $39 - 50. At PetCo they were $39.99 when I went a few days ago. But don't forget that you're going to end up spending at least $60 more for a decent cage, toys, food, etc. And at least $95 if you want to get them spayed or neutered, and that's at a humane society. If you go to a vet, it's at least $150 after the surgery and meds for the week.
If you go and adopt from a humane society, it's usually less expensive. The one by my house is $27.50, and that includes the rabbit and the spay/neuter! Plus, they are usually litter trained, as they are a bit older than the rabbits in the stores.
Some people also sell rabbits they breed. But, I wouldn't buy a rabbit that was kept outside as a baby. They are exposed to more diseases if they are outside.
I found that if you look on Craigslist.com, many people are giving away rabbits and other pets for free. Do a search in your area and maybe you'll find a bun that needs a home!
Good luck with your bunny search! And don't forget, a pet is an investment over it's lifetime, not just a one time payment.
Also, look at what the breed of your bunny is. http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/rabbits/a/rabbitbreeds.htm

This is good just because some rabbits can get to be as large as 18lbs! You may want to buy a breed that fits in your living space comfortably.

It all depends on where you go.
DO NOT buy from a pet store. Their rabbits are usually underaged, poorly bred, and ill. There are exceptions but it can be very hard for a novice to tell the difference.
If you choose to go through a rabbit rescue, your adoption fee will be $50+, but the rabbit will already be spayed/neutered (highly reccomended for pet bunnies) and may have been microchipped and litter box trained, too.
Otherwise, take the time to find a reputable show breeder in your area. A pet rabbit from a good breeder is usually around $20, sometimes more, sometimes less.
Remember that rabbits CAN live into their early teens and require a lot of space. They are not disposable pets. Getting a rabbit is like getting a very small dog who eats pellets and loves to chew.

Not much. I'd consider adopting a shelter bunny, though. But for just a pet, you can look in the paper. In Ohio it's around 10+, since they may include supplies.
If the Fair near you is coming soon, you can get a specific breed for 10-100 dollars, depending. Last year I got my buck lionhead for 15 bucks. But supplies do add up. For feed, try buying ALOT at a time and storing it in air-tight containers. ((I have year-old rabbit food that's perfectly fine and fresh. It's like cooking supplies such as sugar and rice...You don't have to replace it often.))
And I would also like to may a suggestion...For a tame pet rabbit, I'd suggest a buck lionhead. They are just sweethearts and very affectionate.

ok if your going to get a rabbit, things you'll need is: (petco, petsmart, we love pets) 1. rabbit- $20 2. cage (depends how big u want, bigger better)= $70-$150 even $200 3. food= $5-$15 4. timothy hay= $7-$10 5. Pine bedding (thats the best kind, others can give breathing problems so be careful)= $10-$15 6. little ball toys (rabbit safe, SMALL)=$5 7. a rabbit hutch(woodens the best)= $20 8. GRAVITY water bottle (not a bowl, they can get bathroom stuff in their then its bad for the rest of the day plus it spills very easily)=$7 thats the must needs but remember not to give your rabbit any fruits and vegies untill they are adults, (8 months) they can die very easily if not fed fruits and vegies that are not safe for them, so make sure u do your reasearch!! Have fun and good luck, remember that personality in a rabbit is better then looks rabbits are alot of fun too

It depends where you get it. There is the cost of the bunny, then, there's the cost of food and cage and other accessories. But, at the pet store closest to my house they vary from around 6 to 8 dollars each.

depends on what kind of bunny you want. your regular bunny is pretty inexpensive and your more special bunnies (dwarfs, floppy earred, etc) go for almost twice as much. don't forget to factor in the cost of housing and caring for that bunny.
