right now am noticing that her poopy is softer, and stinkier, she's also farting A LOT. am feeding her canned food from trader joes. am only feeding her 2 times a day. do you think i should feed her only dry food till we get to the vet? she also doest seem to like dry food unless she's like starving. what should i do?

The soy in dog food causes the 'stinks', as soy is beans!
Try a kibble without corn or soy. Better for the dog, and for your nose.
You can find several choices at your pet supply, but not at the grocer's.
Canidae, Innova, Wysong, Solid Gold, Wellness are all great kibbles.

If they're white little worms, your dog may have tape worm, which comes from your dog swallowing a flea when grooming herself. If you see her dragging her butt on the ground, she definitely has tape worm, because the little segments of the worm are irritating her. There is really nothing you can do immediately. Wet or dry food doesn't really matter. If she was really hungry, I don't think she'd care. The vet will have to take care of things. All you can do is make sure you dispose of the her stools properly and wash your hands and all that good stuff.

dry food is healthier than wet food. try switching and see if there are any differences. do you even know what they put in some of the wet food... if you don't, then you don't wanna know...
