At the moment she growls every time the puppy comes anywhere near her bed and has had the puppy in her mouth shaking her when she's come too close. They are fine together outside but the puppy is too young to go walking as she's only had her first jab. We're giving the older dog lots of attention and chastising the puppy for tormenting. However it's all a bit upsetting and exhausting! Should I keep them apart until they're able to make friends on walks (another 3 weeks)? I've thought of building the older dog a safe enclosure that the puppy can't get in, but will that make her more insecure? Does anyone have any experience of this level of aggression towards a pup and if so, can you reassure me that the older dog settles down in the end? How long will it take?

My husband purchased a Pedigree Jumbone during his recent business trip to Orlando. When we brought it home, we found a live fly and an insect nest inside the sealed packet! I sent them an email through their website but they didn't respond yet. When I got my friend to talk to them, all they could say is that they maintain the utmost hygiene and it probably happened because the store we brought it from didn't take good care. They are not willing to compensate because they claim that my dog didn't eat the bone and fall sick. I would like to know how could Pedigree take such a stand and not accept responsibilty! Why would I feed my dog a bone that has an insect nest on it only so that he can fall completely sick and I then sue the company? I think I am going to boycott Pedigree because of their utter disregard to animals! I am one very disappointed and angry customer!!!

I just got another cocker spaniel male who is chocolate/white parti-colored. I usually have no problem with names but he's got me stumped.
I don't want anything to do with his color like, Coco, Chocolate, Hershey, Brownie, etc.

Ok so my boyfriend and i are moving out together and hes got this dog that he loves dearly and has been a big part of his life - I cant stand the thought of an animal living in the house with me because i don't think thats very sanitary, but i don't want to take his dog from him. . . . . . I'm not sure what to do to make us both happy in this situation.. . . . . . The dog tears up everything, chews corners off pillows, sheds, its just not comfortable to think of what it would be like moving all of my nice things in with the dog.. . . . what should i do? ? ? ?

To everyone who answered the question about my baby ballpython, thank you!!! I went out and bought him a heating pad, a red light for at night, a tree (that he staysin all the time now) and he is living on coconut. He ate his mouse yesterday, I think he may have been too cold. The issue is, I went to the store to buy all his stuff and they told me that if you feed him live animals that he will be agressive later. I have small children and while he is not big enough to harm them now, I don't want him to later.

Frozen or Fresh??
