It particularly relies upon on the Guinea Pig. Guinea Pigs do no longer actually sleep, they only take short naps then they are up decrease back; eating and pooping. My 6 Guinea Pigs have continually slept with their eyes open, its organic and organic instinct because of the fact they are prey animals. in the event that they do close their eyes its for extraordinarily short classes of time, yet its uncommon for them to close their eyes voluntarily; additionally they do no longer blink.

Our guinea pigs always seem to sleep with their eyes open. But maybe that's because they're light sleepers and wake up whenever someone's around.

You can tell when they're resting when they're in there corners with their heads gently down.

They sleep with thier eyes closed, but thier hearing is very good so as soon as you enter the room, they will wake up. Use a camera if you wana watch them while they sleep.

she will probably sleep when you and your family are asleep. they have very keen hearing and wake up to the noise to investigate to see if its a preditor or not. thats what they used to do in the wild.
