I have a litter of 4 week old puppies. They are still nursing, but I am very paranoid about parvo and other diseases. I want to socialize the pups and introduce them to new places and situations, but I am afraid they will contract something.

i was looking up some info. on the web and i stumbled upon many articles on animals being mistreated in some pet stores. is this (generally) true?

Our dog (golden retriever) is ruining the lawn. I've tried giving him diluted tomato juice and spraying the lawn with water as soon as he goes. That can get rather hard to do all the time.

I am so d_amn sick of people with dogs that it is pathetic. I filed a suit against one of our neighbors the other day because their lab dog tried to bite me a few weeks ago. They were mad at me for going to the emergency room with no broken skin to show a bite on my leg but I felt that it was an emergency situation and they should pay for it!! They claim I should have seen a regular doctor. Actually they SHALL pay for it. All 900 dollars of the ER bill. Any dogs around my house better look out.

What can i do for them to get along.. the 2 kittens dont mind the big cat except that she is mean to them. have any ideas for how i can let them cooperate. i know eventually they will get along, but thats not fast enough!

My dog has some kind of crusty skin problem on his back and tail. He gnaws on it until it bleeds then it crust up and flakes off. It is a continual problem and I can't get him to the vet. Any ideas what this is or how to help it.

I have tried benadryl already and it didnt seem to help...I thought it may have been due to something that he ate that he was allergic to, but he dont have any itching..Every once in a while this will happen and it will clear up about 1/2 a day later...And ideas??

Little Jack russell who has always been sensitive to noises is now becoming a liability to herself. If we have thunder or lightning and we are not quick enough to stop her going out she becomes so upset and out of it she actually colapses and once has been unconscious, have spoken to the vet who thinks she could be having a fit. Prevention is better than cure! so does anyone know of anything I can give her, herbal or whatever to keep her calm, but really I would like something I could give her that would work instantly. Last Nov 5th we put her on a course of herbal drugs that did workish! but fireworks and storms are not always that predictable! Had fireworks tonight luckily we were instantly there and kept an eye on her. She is still restless now 2 hours later. Any ideas?
