You can apply for Working Papers on your next birthday. It will be good until you turn 16 years old. Then you will have to renew your Working Papers for 16-17 year olds. The Federal Labor Laws also guarantees the minimum wage. I don't know what it is at the moment, but I know that our Congressmen will probably vote to raise it soon. With Working Papers, you can get a job in many stores and maybe some offices. In NYC, there is a govt-sponsored Summer Job Youth Program for 14-17 year olds. In the meantime, you can run errands for your neighbors or something like that.

The only way you'll be able to work at your age is to mow lawns or babysit or some other household based job. Federal law prohibits you from holding a taxable job due to child labor. Sorry.
