My sister wants to work with cats and only cats. So she doesn't want to work with other animals. So I am asking whether there are any careers where you only work with cats and take care of them?

I have looking in his ears and they are raw where he has scratched them, but I don't see anything. Can you see ear mites with the naked eye? Can they be treated at home, or should I get him into the vet today?
Thanks,

I need to see them before hand, and am not looking for more than 2 of them. Black buffalo heads preferred, but will consider all variations.

One of my cats was at the vet for two days. Since she has returned, one of my other cats that really got along with her before the vet visit (sleep next to each other, lick her, etc) seems to hate her now.

He will hiss and growl any time he is near her. Why is he doing this? Will things go back to normal?

I came to read some members asking about torts as pet and Feng Shui, some said is good but some said is bad. Just wonder which is right?

My gopher pet snake tends to relieve himself in a corner of the cage where it's really hard to clean up, is there any way I could get him to do it somewhere else?

I relaize it's probably an attention thing. I know's he not hungry. Any suggestions for getting him to be quiet at 4am? And no I'm not gonna beat him or anything. And getting another piggy isn't an option.

My boyfriend just came home with two rabbits that a neighbor didn't want anymore. They are filthy. Apparently the woman and her daughter were too afraid of the rabbits to take care of them as they should...my question? how do you clean rabbits...I mean can you just dunk em in water? I am not a pet person...obviously...but if they are gonna have to be here...they are gonna have to be clean...

I have a male neutered cat that is about 2 years old. We had him neutered at the appropriate age (I believe he was 6 months old). He has been acting a bit odd lately in that, and I am NOT trying to be fresh or perverted etc, he is starting to ummmm rub himself when he is in a lovey mood. Is this normal? I have been around cats all of my life and have had at least one all the time. He is an indoor cat. We have a spayed female cat that we adopted from Purfect Pals and she has also been fixed. She is outdoors. When she comes in from outdoors, the male cat will NOT leave her alone.

To add to my confusion, he has been walking the house and wailing lately. He has also been cleaning himself a lot.

I guess my fear is that even though we paid to have him neutered, he may in fact still be a full functioning cat.

Again, I am NOT trying to be fresh or offend anybody. This is an honest question at 1230 AM about my concern re my wailing cat. Thank you for honest and helpful answers.

At night I leave my 8 week old Shih Tzu in the laundry room with her crate open. She cries all the time so I bring her crate and her up to my room and let her sleep with me. Should I keep doing this?
What do I do to stop the cries and whine?
