Most animals go through a short period of depression if theyre beyond "puppyhood". Honestly id say to try either some Purina EN (gastroentestinal) most dogs go for that, even the picky eaters, or if they dont gave purina hills ID is the same thing. If it begins to get worse or you notice siginificant weight loss, there may be an underlying problem and you should get to the vet asap, but honestly this just sounds like a picky eater to me, best thing to do is leave that wet food out for a day, nothing else for the rest of the day, she should go for it. Hope this helps.

You shouldn't just feed her chicken breast because it doesn't provide all the necessary nutrients that dogs need. I used to do this because my dog was an incredibly fussy eater and wouldn't eat anything except for chicken, but the vet said that it's not healthy for them to just eat protein. What I did was I gave him the chicken breast once in a while (about once a week or so), but I do feed him wet canned food with my fingers. He is so incredibly fussy that he won't eat anything even if he's starving. So I would suggest that you feed her wet canned food with your hands (I use the Nutro brand). Don't just feed her chicken, it's definitely not healthy for them. Or you could continue feeding her the chicken and take vitamins/supplements. I did that for a while with my dog.

Try adding cooked vegetables to her dry dogfood, or a little bit of gravy, or a bit of chicken or meat, or spaghetti sauce. Mix up good so she has to eat the dog food to get to the rest.
This should help you with your fussy dog.

At first the pug was just home sick now that she knows she can get chicken from you of course that is all she will eat. try slowly putting the chicken in her regular food and feed her less chicken every day.

He's a fussy eater just like my dog. Sammy will only eat barbequed chicken breast for dinner (sometimes lamb), and his special dog chocolate biscuits for breakfast. The vet says this is fine.

Boy, does your dog have you trained well. Does she also have you do take out orders for her too..She will eat when she is hungry, try giving her a healthy dry dog food. She is probably more nervous about surroundings, she will adjust to her new surroundings. she probably senses your anxiety and that makes her more nervous. Some dogs when their nervous, don't eat. Good luck with her.

Try to get Nutri-Cal from your vet...is like $10 per tube.
It is a Multi-Vitamin that get your sog hungry. It is like a tooth paste tube... Give only a inch of the product twice a day for two days, then once daily.... It will help open his stomach...

she could be depressed because of the change. if that is the case the vet can prescribe a anti-depressant and you will get you dog back. he also might not like the food he is given, believe me i know. i switched four times in a year to find the right one

I would talk to the vet. She may miss her previous owner and be depressed.
