we are going to get a fence because we are planning to get a dog very soon. In our area, chain link seems to be standard and our next door neighbor has chain link along the edge of their yard that runs along our side of the yard. My question is - we have gotten an estimate for installing a fence for our yard that would use the side of the fence that our neighbor already has so that we actually only need to get the fencing along 2 sides of our yard. Is this standard for most people to do? Or, do we need to add our own side of the fence that runs parallel to the neighbor? Do we need to ask the neighbor if we can "piggy back" off of their one side?

I will tell you what I have . I have a ton of great used clothing, and about 75% infants thru size 14, both sexes. I have videos, 75% are kids, used VHS, I have books, some brand new but only $1, 75% kids again. I have Christian books. I am actually selling everything for $1 but I'm not going to put that in the ad as I think it will deter the bargain hunters, but the stuff I have is great and I mean like Nike, disney and great stuff. my kids are grown and gone and I am emptying out the house. So a ton must go. Any suggestions on how to pull them in with the ad. I have done many, and know about setting up signs and all but I don't buy/shop garage sales so I don't know what to say to grab their attention best ? Heh you garage sale aholics, want to write an ad or share what catches your eye ? Ad goes in Wed., 9-12 thanks so much from a person who desperately need income. WEndy

I can only burn my pillar candles a few times, then the wicks are sitting down in little holes in the wax and are difficult to light. If I can get them lit, they go out quickly as the wax melts onto them. How can I burn the rest of the candle??

My dad passed away recently. There are many of his belongings in his study room. There are books, clothes, and digital electronics. How should I deal with them?

I'm considering getting a dehumidifier to help preserve the books on the shelves. Is this the right thing to do?

For those who have encountered similar scenarios, what did you do?

The other day there was a spider (about size of a nickel) in my apt. Than another one appeared yesterday It had a brown brown body with a head that was brown and tan striped. Its body (abdomon) was long and came to a point sort of. It looked a little furry. It also had these things on its head that looked like hooks. I did some looking and came up with Funnelweb Spider? It said they usually are not found inside. Anyone know about common household spiders?

Do you like them? Would you buy one? Is it more for a cottage that you would like it?

I'm thinking of building one, and almost everyone I know says that they love them, but my dad think it will be hard to re-sell because not everyone likes them. I just want to know who's right!

I cannot smell exactly where it is coming from though! Sometimes, I believe it to be coming from the heating vents, that is where the smell seems to be most prominent. My husband says that he cannot open it up and find it because of the way the heating system is connected, he thinks the smell will go away soon without any intervention. He also does not have a very good "sniffer", he dosent smell it in the same places that I do! It is driving me nuts that he wont take care of it! It stinks so bad, and I am pregnant, so this smell is nauseating to me! Please help me, what should I do to find it and eliminate the odor ASAP??!!

We just purchased 7 acres in Copperas Cove and need someone to dig a stock tank/pond for our horses. We just moved to Texas and don't know many people and I've been searching online without much luck. Is there a technical name for this that I'm missing or a better way to find someone who'll do it? Thanks!

Question Details: So we bought the heated floor system at the Home Depot..the one where you roll it out..its like a matt and comes with a thermostat. While looking at it, this guy was standing beside me and said are you buying that. I told him I was thinking about it for under our floor tiles in the kitchen. He said his bill went up by $150 per month and he only has abit in his bathroom which is on for 1 hr each morning! He also showed me the box says it uses as much energy as a lightbulb or 2 and he says maybe this is false advertising because it made his bill go up so high. I asked a worker after at the store and they said there is no way that could have happened. What do you think? Do you know anyone that had or has this? I bought it anyways and am abit nervouse..I only bought the 8 foot one..just one box..Will It make my bill go skyhigh?

They are German Roaches, and I don't know where they're comming from. Since I never see more than one at a time, and I've seen them in the hallway of the complex I don't think I can stop them at the source. I just don't want them in where I live! So little help?

They're everywhere! In bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom, and in the attic, maybe not the basement but only because I'm rarely down there. The rats do the same routine everyday, at 8:00 PM they're somewhere around the kitchen, then at midnight I can see them hugging the wall while running and under beds. The sticky traps don't work because they can avoid them and they don't eat the poison that was put in the cracks. These rats are smart! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?

I have two dogs and their smell was never an issue until now. Now my house is really starting to reek. I have tried baking soda in the carpets, carpet freshner, air freshner, ionic breeze, candles and incense. Any advice? I thought about one of those automatic freshners that sprays every few minutes. And no, I am not getting rid of the dogs.

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
