Me and my mom went to Ikea, and we bought a Rubber Tree Plant, and a Lucky Bamboo.
I went onto the internet and found out how to care for them. My Rubber Tree Plant is doing great, but my mom's lucky bamboo seems to be dying.
There are 3 lucky bamboos. One of them has brown-yellow one part of the stem near the top. Some of the leaves are yellow. When you touch it it is almost like hollow. Is it dying?
I just changed the water today. She has it in water.
Is there anything I can do to help it?? Thank you!!

I have found these very very tiny little white bugs (almost tan in color) in my 2 books, crawling all over the pages, that I have stored in my garage, they are everywhere in these 2 books. I think they are biting me. What are they? What causes them? And how can I get rid of them forever? I have (in the past) rarely seen them on some of my books in my house too, but never this bad -- as the ones in my garage are right now. Do they really bite? Can I get rid of them without getting rid of the books? Please help, I hate bugs !!

Hi, I have had many garage sales over the years but not for many years lately. I am not a garage sale shopper altho I do Lot of 2nd hand shopping. I am going to be selling fabrics and brand new patterns, never cut or opened from my huge sewaholic stash :) what should I ask for the patterns and on the used clothing, if it is in good shape, I was just going to ask $1 for each item so i wouldn't have to price and what is left over I can sell next time for less. But will the lack of being able to bargain drive folks away. OK you garage salers who shop, need you advice. I live in So OR smaller type town, not much money around here.

I am in real estate and I am noticing more and more people say "call my cell". As they either do not have a landline or they only have one for emergency purposes. Curious about what you use. Thanks!

I know this question depends very much on specifics but can anyone help me with some rough estimates? I can find out the price of windows from a store but how hard are they to install? can I do it myself? what other costs are involved? Does anyone have window recommendations? We would be looking to improve the insulation and also block out some noise
.Many thanks

I am looking at purchasing one of two houses, one with a garage and one without. I like the house better without the garage and can get it for cheaper so I am wondering if I could build a garage. There is back alley access and a detatched garage would suit us fine. Including labour and concrete floor etc what is the general cost of building a basic garage?

Does it really work well and how much does it cost?
Are there any additional costs? Where would I buy one?

I have removed all the fruit from my house, and any fruit I have left is in the fridge, but I still have this pesky buggers everywhere. I've tried just setting a dish of vinegar out as well, but that didn't really work as I was told. Any other suggestions? Thanks bunches!

We have a mouse problem. Have had since about May. Every time I think we have the last of the little buggars, I find more droppings. I'm almost tempted to call in the pros, but here's my delima... I have two dogs that we feed in the kitchen. We put there food in the garage at night, but I'm afraid that a pro is just going to tell me I'm fighting a losing battle. What do you guys think... is there any hope?

We just moved into a new house in NH 3 months ago and I know to expect a certain amount of "tenants" when a house has been vacant for many months.

But in the past 2 weeks I have seen 3, large, threatening looking spiders and one has been able to elude me and is hiding in my baseboard heating. How can I best keep the baseboard heating clear of creepy crawlies and how do I get this one out now?
