ok ok ok...... let me start from the TOP! Its just my husband and I, no kids.... no animals.. (besides my husband, haha) j/k. AND! i'm looking to buy a washer and dryer. We do have good credit and i want to spend LESS then 1000. i dont need a new one. just.... that they need to be front load so they can stack on each other (i live in apartments) i dont want the one that come already stacked, just in case my husband and i were to move to an apt where the washer and dryer are side by side.

Are there any tips or important things i should know about buying a washer and dryer. Remember its just me and him. we are only 21 and we dont need much.

AND! should i do credit or save the money?

The plant stands about 1.2m high and has a broad leaf at the end of two thick stems. One of the stems is directly growing out of the base of the other, very close to the ground. During the night, the plant emits water from its leafs.
I have no clue on any common names.

I moved into my current apartment in May and just last week saw a very large mouse in my laundry room. I immediately closed the door and placed cardboard across the bottom. I had two bags of garbage stored there for collection day that I removed. I went out and bought several "snap" mouse traps and placed them throughout my apartment. A couple of days later I walked into my kitchen and the mouse was on my stove and it dove under one of the burners. I covered the burners with aluminum cake pans and weighed them down with pots and pans (this morning, almost a week later, I finally got the nerve to check the stove and found nothing). I bought 16 more traps - the sticky kind - and placed them throughout my apartment with a big glob of peanut butter on each one. I work night shift and when I leave in the evening I turn the lights in my apartment off to try to draw the mouse out. Since the day I saw the mouse on my stove I haven't seen any sign of it and the traps remain untouched. I plan on keeping the baited traps down for about another week after which I will just leave them unbaited. No matter what, I will keep some traps down from now on. I have never lived anywhere that's had a mouse before, so this is a new (and very unpleasant) experience. My apartment is clean, but I am being extra careful to keep all my used dishes washed, garbage is always keep in a garbage can with a lid and my pantry is a free-standing unit away from the other kitchen cupboards. What I would like to know is can anyone who has been in this situation offer any other advice or suggestions as to what I can do to deal with this, and most importantly, after how long of not seeing the mouse (or signs of) can I start to relax and assume that it's either gone or caught by one of the other tenants? Thanks for any answers provided.

im worried it's going to require new pipework as the system is old and i've heard that old pipes can't always take the pressure of a new system. i've budgeted £6k for new boiler, pipework, radiators and labour, which i've been told is reasonable for a 2 bed flat (comments??). if the old pipes have to be dug out of the concrete and new ones put in and then concreted over, is it going to end up being really extortionate?

The ones I have are good quality but just old. I don't want to throw them away and buy new ones just because the blades are a bit blunt, so any ideas?

Home Depot has limited varieties and an Internet search doesn't help either. Just type in "bricks" to see what I mean.

I have never lived in a home with a pool. We have two kids and my son is begging for a house with a pool. I want to because I think I would enjoy it as well, but I'm curious about wether or not we can maintain it without it taking over our lives. Any insight would be great.

Hey everybody. I recently seen this big brown spider outside my house. It's about 1" long, abdomen big, looks kinda bumpy. Wish I could provide a picture of it. I've tried to look online to try to find it, but it's kinda hard to. If anyone has an idea where i can find information please let me know. Or even if you want a picture to help find it.

Hi,
I was a complete idiot, I spent 8.5k on a kitchen from mfi and all I have had from them is %$"&.
The kitchen was discontinued, I was told 10 days before delivery after having it on order for 10 weeks! Then half of it didnt turn up after I was given a substitute - The reason being........Every other person who had this kitchen was given the same one and ran out!
I have no kitchen, upset family, and all mfi do is fob me off telling me it will be there in a few weeks. They dont care, they lie and continually make FAKE promises, they have stopped me calling the store I bought it from the number has been disconnected, you now have to go through an 0844 number @ 10p a minute!!
I was on the phone to them earlier for almost an hour - not because I wanted to but BECAUSE THE DELIVERY DID NOT TURN UP!!
I went into the store and was confronted by a man shouting at a salesman saying he had the same thing.
I hear loads of people are having the same, Are they going bust?
Your experiences!

Hey guys,

I had an incandescent light bulb break on me today. Is there anything dangerous (chemicals, materials) that could injure me? Also, there were little pieces of brown material (solid) near the fixture of the bulb. What are those?

i always thot that the fern ive been struggling with was a boston fern, but it isnt. its an australian sword fern. any one have any tips on growing this type of fern full and lively? i would like it to be what i call "a hanging bush" but im stressing b/c winter is soon coming and i will have to bring it inddors. i realize that plants go into sort of a hybernation period in the winter but i dont have alot of room nor do i have a large bathroom to hang it in for the moisture. i do however own a few little humidifiers (like for a baby's room). if i put it in the basement should i still water it and how often? please help b/c it has been doing rather well outside and i fear it will die off too much indoors.
specific web sites would help too b/c ive looked all over and frankly im confused w/what steps to take.

A piece of property I've found stays sort of wet most of the time. Is it possible for the wet area to be filled in with fill dirt to dry it out and either build a home on or set up a double wide? Will filling it keep it dry indefinately?
