I have had a large screened in a pool-patio area for about 27 years. Its about 1500 sq ft. The hurricanes of 04 took it down, cost about $18,000 to replace. Cost may be less now that the demand has dropped. Shop around we had prices from $30,000 to $16,000 for ours. I like the enclosure it makes the outdoor area bug free and prevents kids from wondering into the pool. I live in SW Florida.

Partially depends on where in Florida you are moving. Hurricane paths could be a problem with high winds. Living by the ocean could cause pitting in aluminum frames. Good part is keeping the bugs out. I have never seen so many different types of bugs as I did when living in Florida.

A screened in pool enclosure is best...keeps out any pests including chameleons, squirls, birds and "gators". No idea of cost. We have what was a screened room, which due to the heat here most of the year, has been converted to a glass enclosed, air conditioned room. Love it!
