They're everywhere! In bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom, and in the attic, maybe not the basement but only because I'm rarely down there. The rats do the same routine everyday, at 8:00 PM they're somewhere around the kitchen, then at midnight I can see them hugging the wall while running and under beds. The sticky traps don't work because they can avoid them and they don't eat the poison that was put in the cracks. These rats are smart! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?

first, put everything they can get into away from them. this means all food, dry pasta, cereal, flour, sugar EVERYTHING into glass or heavy plastic containers so they can't get food. Then, go to your local co-op or feed store and get a product called Onebite. this will kill them. do put it along the walls as rats tend to run along the walls. and do put it in the basement coz you can bet they are there. probably where they nest. They are there because you are making it easy for them to get food. You also need to find where they are coming in at and block these places. that is a good place to put the Onebite at too. it will take a coule of days for the bait to take affect, but this stuff does kill them. hopefully, they die outside as it will stink if they die inside.

Contrac bait for mice/rats. Its a poison and if they feed on it they'll die. You may need to put the bait out a few times in about a weeks time cause of the infestation. You'll want to walk around the house/building and inspect for holes, even look for holes in the yard and throw some bait down there as well. You'll need to seal up the holes in the house/building so no other rats/mice gain enterance. Best to call an exterminator and have them inspect and rid them for you.

if you poison them make sure that they have no access to water in your house.the poison makes them thirsty.if they get water inside they will stink when they die.run you out of house and home.pue!once youve done this seal off all .all! HOLES.HELPFUL hintrats dont like steel wool an easy remedy for hard to get to holes like under sink excetra

What works for me is I put on a silly hat, green tights, and prance out of the house playing my musical pipe. They all follow me, who wouldn't?
