This question has nothing to do with cleaning up your credit score or paying off debt. I would like to know if anyone has found a way to keep their credit, debit, library, etc cards clean. I don't like looking at my cards and seeing fingerprints and build up on them. So I'm talking about cleaning the actual plastic on the card here. If I could... I would like them to look as nice as possible when I use them. Thank you.

I recently had new interior doors and trim installed in my house. We patched and sanded the nails and painted with a glossy white paint. It came out streaked and you could see the patch underneath. What kind of paint should I use? Or what kind of brush should I use? Is there a good washable, but durable paint? What about painting the fireplace mantel? What kind paint should I use on that? Any suggestions are appreciate.

I am trying to create a doll with a stabbing motion and cannot seem to find a small enough oscillating motor. I would like one that is battery operated and doesn't move too fast.

We've recently purchased a home, and are currently remodeling the kitchen. We've inherited a 1960's 35" Kenmore gas range/oven/griddle/rotiss... combo. It was functional until we disconnected it from the gas line to remodel. Our realtor told us he thought we could sell it for $$$$. Is this kind of thing valuable? Should we put an advertisement in the classifieds section/Craigslist? If so, for what price? Is it junk, and should we just sell to the local metal recycler? Can I get any money out of it, and how much?

I am looking into an opinel 6 knife. I would like to get a sharpening stone or two (or three) to sharpen it and other tools around the house. I've heard about Arkansas stones- can I just get a general purpose one or do I have to get three grades, if they do come in three grades. Another option would be to get a Lansky sharpening set, but those are more expenisve than a single Arkansas stone. Any particular items I should get and opinions would be extremely helpful. Thank you very much!

I'm having a case for my fishing rod made by a carpenter and need to choose a suitable wood. He suggested Gench, its a hard wood apparently, with a tactile veneer. Very soft to the touch and easily polished. Wood this be suitable?

I want to buy a cordless screwdriver as a gift. I'm looking at the Mastercraft 3.6V Lithium Ion Screwdriver (item # 54-2740-8 at canadian tire) it seems a good value but I haven't had any recent experience with cordless screwdrivers. the last time i used one was nearly 20 years ago.

Can any one shed some light onto this and tell me if this product is good, or can you suggest an alternative?

Im installing my 12" Bosch sliding compound miter saw on a Ridged portable work stand. Im sceptical about using the whinny mounting screws that Ridgid supplies to hold saw in place. Does anyone have this kind of set up, and give some advise.

I am renovating our new home and want to know if there are any reasons not to place a stove next to the sink? Its a regular electric stove, and there will be a inch or two of counter top and cupboard between them. My reason for doing this is the existing exhaust fan is located here and I don't know if i can move it with out major work...

After we installed the new single oven & range the nasty wall behind it still shows. It looks like someone had tile there at one point and simply ripped it out before installing the old, giant double oven that we just replaced. What can I put on that wall that will be easy to clean? Should I just sand & paint? Would I need a pro to install tile? Is there a website that deals with all of this?
