I chipped the cube part on the top, but here is a picture of a similar one. Anyone know how to remove the square head part only.

What you have pictured is called a cap. The cap consists of the square head down to the threaded part. It is all one piece and must be replaced as a complete piece. Unscrew the cap and take it with you to the hardware store. They will help you find the replacement piece.

That cleanout cap is all one peice! You need to get a pipe wrench to remove the cap, and buy a new one. They are relatively inexpensive.
Drill a hole in the plastic about a 1/2" from the square part. Drill a few holes, so you can get an offset hack saw in there. Now, cut away at the plasric until you come to within a 1/8" or 3/16" from the outdise of the thread. Cut out a good sized chunk of the cleanout cap. Don't let the peices fall into the cleanout.
Once you've got a good chunk cut out, take a chisel, and place it on the edge of the cap near the threads, and tap it util a good peice of thread breaks free.
Now, take a pipe wrench, and turn the remainder ofthe cap off until it comes free and you can turn it by hand.
Replace the cap with a new one.

Use a large pipe wrench or a channel lock pliers to get it off...might take a little force but it should unscrew. If you break or round off the square head to the point where you can't grip it, you'll have to dig down below the collar and cut it off with a hacksaw or Sawzall type tool, then glue a new collar back on with PVC cleaner, primer and cement and screw in a new cap.

I think you are going to have to saw it or cut it off with a hand saw....you don't want to use a power tool on this. I don't think you will be able to get it off any other way as they use special PVC glue to make sure the pieces don't come apart. You can get a replacement piece at Home Depot, Lowe's or another Home Improvment Store. Keep the piece and take it with you to make sure you get the right replacement size and don't forget the PVC glue to put it back on, if that's what you want to do.

or...
Grab yourself two rods (metal or wood), place them on opposite sides of the square nut, grasp close to the ends on each rod, and twist.
The rods will give you more physical distance between your hands for you to apply more body strength - the rods should give you more torque.
