This question has nothing to do with cleaning up your credit score or paying off debt. I would like to know if anyone has found a way to keep their credit, debit, library, etc cards clean. I don't like looking at my cards and seeing fingerprints and build up on them. So I'm talking about cleaning the actual plastic on the card here. If I could... I would like them to look as nice as possible when I use them. Thank you.

Baby wipes, as suggested, are a great way to clean fingerprints from many surfaces.

BUT, use care with any soap product on the metallic strip. Any buildup could cause a mis-read in the store machines.

Drying them with a soft towel/ cloth should do it fine.

Take 1/4th cup of alcohol, and 1/2 cup of water and a squirt of dawn for dishes. mix and then use a clean cloth, dip it into solution and wipe cards and dry them. you can keep this solution and have it on hand any time you need it.

previous answers are pretty god, you will never keep them spotless, but a mild soap water mix will clean them pretty good, and rinse thoroughly, dry with a soft cloth and just wipe them off each time you use them
