If you are not very handy then this is definitely NOT a project you want to undertake by yourself. You may need a new permit if you want to legally cut another vent in your roof as well (since normally your plumbing vent will already be there and you usually need a permit for each of those).
If I could make another suggestion however...
If you have an attic and have other vents in the attic could you route the vent to the attic and extend it (Home Depot sells tubing such as you use for a dryer) so it exhausts through another eve vent in the attic at another location rather than through the roof?

It's not too hard to put a vent in the roof but you'd better know what you're doing or you'll have a leaky spot.
Remember, water runs down-hill so all shingles and metal venting material should be installed with this thought in mind. Keeping a roof water tight requres lapping of materials and using some sort of tar-like or other sealer.
It's simple in practice but difficult to explain in less than 4,000 words so I'd say, call the handyman guy.

I wish I could help you with this one but seems to be a problem of mine as well so I'd like to know the answer too! Seems no matter what deodorant I use my underarms still smell. I've even tried putting baby powder (the corn starch johnson and johnson kind) on after the baby powder to no avail. I seem to throw alot of white shirts away because I can't stand to even see a little yellow, makes me feel gross even if I can't see it! I am always afraid if I feel stinky than others can smell it as well. I always wear perfume and keep deodorant in my purse. I think some people just have more active sweat glands than others, but I wish I knew so I could help us both!

If you have room to get to the vent in the attic you could duct the vent out to another side or area .
It could be vented through the roof but the draft devertor or check may not work properly

You should call a qualified handyman to do this. Cutting a hole in your roof is a great way to allow all that rain into the house.

Don't use the fan, just close the door and use a whole bunch of air freshener. You may open the door and smell a lot of perfume, but at least you don't smell it all over the house, lol.

You could do it yourself. Just be sure you put the proper
'boot" to attach a duct and roof cap to. and make sure it is weatherproofed!!!
Home depot or lowes should have some material to help you

i think that would be better if you call somebody to fix it, if the fan won't work then it would be better you call for somebody to do it, and it would be safer.
Good day! :)
