I have gone through two THU140S Toto toilet flappers. The chain continues to tear right through the plastic hole that connects the flapper to the chain. It's really annoying to have to replace the flapper. Is there a universal flapper that will work for my toilet and be better made or longer-lasting?

I've been using quikcrete's fast setting concrete to try and set a bastketball pole. But its not holding the pole very well. I'm using it for that Derek Jeters hit-a-way and after a few hard swings the pole comes loose. The hole I dug is about 14inches by 14 inches, then place the pole, pour dry mix and add water. I've tried 3 times already. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When you do something good you get brownie points. Well if you do something bad you get them taken away. Is this like saying brownies are better than fudge... if so I totally disagree!

Im redoing the kicthen, there are 2 old layers of faux-tile vinyl-ish type flooring glued down to the plywood flooring beneath. We are doing it very nicely and are getting expensive tiling done, but need to get down to the wood again. I have tried using an edger to scrape or pry the flooring up but they barely scratch it, theyre stuck REALLY well. Is there a chemical or solution that will soften this up without damaging the plywood?
Am I better off just ripping out the wood and putting in new plywood floors?

A combination padlock, or one with a key... of course considering that they're both good quality.

I heard something like its possible for someone to crack the code of a combination padlock just by listening to it. Is it true?
