Hi I am restoring my first guitar. I have primmed it, painted it, and clear coated it. I am told I need to wet sand it and then buff it with a polish compound.

Can someone explain this method to me ????

What are the best materials to use? I know a few sound insulating tricks from college like staggered angles, layered walls and soundproof foam. But Im not sure what to make the main case out of, wood? plastic?
I have a few ideas about fans and airflow too. Thanks for any advice.

At this moment, I have at home two (one downstairs and one upstairs) Honeywell Thermostat model: T8401C (Digital non-programmable), I would like to upgrade my old one for the Honeywell model TH8320U1008.

I was thinking to do the terminal connection myself, but I wonder if I took out the cables from the old one, and put it in the same way in the new one... it is going to work?

Please excuse this simple question but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I've read the instructions a million times.......appliance must be grounded but I don' t know what that means!!! Under the dishwasher I see a black wire (hot), I see the white wire (Neutral) and the green ground wire is attached under the head of a screw to the appliance - does this mean its already grounded? So now I purchased a universal 3- Wire Dishwasher Power cord. Obviously white to white and black to black but the power cord has the green ground wire........where do I connect this to? Would I place it under the same screw where the other green wire is? I have no experience doing this. Please help before I get electrocuted! It seems simple enough but I'll wait for some advice.........and may be someone can clear up what hardwiring means?!?! Thanks in advance.

I bought an Intex above ground pool 18ft.x48in. last year and we did alright keeping it up but we just never understood how to keep the ph balanced. We always bought the packs of Shock and poured it in the pool. If anyone has an above ground pool, could you tell me in details what chemicals you put in the pool each week, or daily and where you buy your chemicals at. I got the kit, but im not quite understanding it. If someone wants to chat with me to help me out my s/n is girlegrl7,please share your ideas, thanks!!

It's optional on the order at no extra charge. Is it made optional because some people have stone sills which they wouldn't want to remove, or is it optional for some other reason: eg are uPVC sills not as hard-wearing as the original wooden ones? I guess a sill gets a lot of rough treatment like standing, accidental kicking & scratching.
(I will be installing it myself).

Years ago, I used to watch a show called Interior Motives on the Discovery Channel. Christopher Lowell had all kinds of neat ideas on this show. In one episode, he made a room divider out of hollow core doors. The divider was shaped like a U, kind of. On one side, he put another core door horizontally attached between the doors to make a desk. On the other side, I think he put a bed or a sofa, or something. I have a very large unfinished basement with a concrete floor. We use one side as a playroom and the other side for laundry and storage. I wanted to use this idea or something like it to make a craft area for myself and my kids. I can remember the basic idea but can't remember what was used to attach the pieces. I want it to be stable and sturdy so it doesn't fall over or hurt anyone. Any suggestions, or ideas about where I might find directions for something like that? I've done multiple web searches and can't find what I'm looking for.

Hello, I need to install a spring seat on my bike and wanted to know where can I get an instructional video that would enable me to weld it to the bike's frame? Do you know any other methods that are better? Basically I want to weld 3 bolts to the metal frame and then bolt the seat on them. Thank you all for your help!
