How do I create an afforable temporary (I'm on a six month lease) window seat in my apartment? The alcove is fit for a seat of W86xH39(25min.)xD24.

Why not buy a wooden tool chest and put a cushion on top, then you'll have storage too! Or if you can afford it, invest in a pretty cedar hope chest.

Concrete building blocks, strong boards across them, folded blankets on top, and all covered by a bed sheet.
