Salt would probably kill the weeds, but they will also do a job on the underside of your car--as evidenced by any residential area on a Pacific Island, or by areas where the roads are salted to melt ice.

There is an organic site that I found at one time (when I worked for dept of ag) where you can purchase a strong solution of vinegar that kills weeks better than Roundup. It was condensed so it was a strong percentage, but cannot remember exactly what percent it was.

I don't know about salt I would think that it would work but I would use boiling water to kill the weeds in the driveway.

It might. The trouble is that it might also kill things you want left alive. Boiling water and vinegar are better options.

Yes it will. Every time we make homemade ice cream we have to ger rid of salt water. I throw it on weeds and they **************DIE-DIE-DIE.*****************
