To give an example, lets suppose you are working in a corner moving to the right. Measure from the floor to the top of the ceiling and transfer that measurement to the sheetrock. Then measure again four feet over and transfer that measurement. Use a straight edge to draw in the angle on the sheetrock.

Give the 10 to ROB,,,right now. (no offense to anyone)

After installing multiple thousands of sq. ft. of drywall; If I'd taken the time to stress over angles, much like Finish TRIM, I'd still be on my first job.

Obviously you might FUDGE an angle by holding the utility knife in such a way. or using a sabre saw with the plate set at an angle, but WHY?

The notion is to have; at any corner/Butted joint,,,Hopefully at PLUMB...and to finish it you'll use mud and/ or mud and tape anyway.

Please tell me this is strictly for a DIY and not a blossoming Hanger buisness.

They pieces don't have to match exact since the corners and seams will be taped and mudded. The easiest way is to cut it straight as you normally would. Push the one straight side to the corner then when you get ready to put the other piece upto it just use a drywall rasp and shave the end till you get it close to the angle you want.

If you are putting up a wall, you need to cut it to the specifications of your wall... kkkk you have 4 wall generally per room, put up one that meets to each corner & ceiling & floor level butting to the edge, then go across the room and do the same to that walls spec's and then finish up with the other 2 wall making sure that the corners are butted together,do the ceiling accordingly.
Tape with mudd and float, let dry & sand, get a textured roller,
mix a little paint with mudd to desired consistencey, and roll on sheet rock, dry and paint.
