What do the instructions on the material say?

There are different types of sealers available. If it is a cure/sealer it is applied after you have completed the finishing process.

If it is a sealer that is applied later, generally you need to wait 28 days for the hydration process to be complete.

Concrete will reach about 70% of its design strength after about 7 days and will reach full strength after about 28 days. Concrete will get harder with age. I would wait about a month before sealing unless the manufacturer says otherwise.

Wait about a month. New concrete will absorb moisture while curing and this makes it stronger. Thats why many people keep the surface wet and covered with plastic while curing.

if you use a curing and sealing compound you can seal it as soon as you are done troweling it...not too many jobs are going to let you wait for 30 days and after you finish it is the cleanest that floor is going to be...
