panels are to be formed up horizontal on existing slab with welded mesh reinforcing and lifted into position when set.
Aside from cement, what can be used to cast the panels (which are not load bearing, loads will be taken by columns.)
and keep them as lightweight as possible yet resistant to impact?

I recently removed all of the caulk in our bathtub/shower, as it was mildewing and pretty gross looking. I scraped it all out with a putty knife, and wiped everything down with a towel to get rid of water/debris. I used a DAP bathtub/shower caulk, and allowed it to dry for 24 hours... however, within a day after that, the caulk started peeling and coming off.

Could there have still been water left behind tiles, shower doors, etc. that would cause this problem or something else? How can I avoid it when I re-do it?

We only have one shower, so leaving it to dry for an extended period of time is not an option. I had to do it on a Sat. morning right after taking showers, then let it dry until late Sunday morning. I know ideally you should let it dry before and after for longer than this, but I really don't have a choice.

FYI - the caulk I used came in a dispensing container like this (though it was not this exact product): http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?product_id=9

Just installed a new toilet tank flush mechanism. It included a new rubber gasket for between the bottom seat ceramic piece and the ceramic tank. I followed the instructions- tightened the two screws and leveled the tank. I didn't want to over tighten the screws because I didn't want to break anything. So now I have no leaks but the water tank doesn't feel solid. When I push it - it kind of sways back and forth. I'm worried someone might lean back and cause the ceramic to break. Have an Answer for a fix?

My grandmother is moving from her house and she has a shed that I will be buying from her. The size of the wood shed is approx. 9 feet (side to side) and 14 feet (front to back). The shed is not built into the ground, but instead it is just "sitting" on the ground. Do you have any ideas how I can move this shed to another house? My uncle has a flatbed trailer I can use but getting the shed onto the trailer is my problem.

If you installed a brand new bathtub and surround today, how long should it stay decent looking and useable?

We are looking to buy a home where these items will need to be replaced. My husband says he and his father can do this.

My objection is that these two replaced his mom’s about 15 years ago, and it looks pretty rough these days. I want to know if that’s a reasonable lifespan for these products or if these two gentlemen think their skills are better than they really are.
