Dude you left way to many details in your question. Is this a real question? You people don't appreciate the ones who try to give you good answers.

I gotta go with papercut. I see incomplete confusing questions every day, and NO real details.

I suppose it MIGHT be obvious to some of us, but why not just ask properly? Even Yahoo suggests so.

First of all "IT" means what? Is this for a dwelling? A Shed? A Dog house?

For a dwelling 2 x6 is inadequate and very likely NOT CODE, no matter where you live.

yes, ? if your talking about a roof, spacing of rafters, with 2x6 go at 2 ft on center
