Hmmmm??? Smiles. I suspect Maybe. Afterall almost anything's possible if one believes so. Will you be satisfied?

Certainly one way to check, before tearing apart the weedeater, and tooling all the bracketing; drive mechanism; etc... You might go to a shop that sells go carts/ AtV's...even those battery operated cars in toy stores and judge total weight against engine/motor capacity/ load/ etc. How might one equate 31 CC to a B&S 3 or 5 HP. Mower engine?

Gas operated or not, the weedwacker is built for High RPM's not strictly LOAD. I stall mine often in tall grass.

I have seen them adapted to skooters and skate boards, but the difference in weight is major, to a go kart.

Just one old Wolf rambling.

Ummmmmmm, NO!!! Weedeater engines are made for high rpm's. They have little to no torque and wont move the gocart with noone in it let alone with someone in it. This would be a great way to find out how much stress that little motor would take before it blows up. If you do this, record your first trial run with it and put it on youtube, im sure it would be quite popular. No helmet required
