We need to know the materials to use and how to use them. Is there such a thing as a burlap bag used in plastering walls?

We renovated our Powder room (Washroom) and had to replace the toilet. The sink with the countertop is ivory it, has some little white designs in it. My question is: " Is it acceptable to install a white toilet? The doors and baseboards are white and the wall color is taupe. Please, I need advice, it,s a very nice victorian style toilet but it only comes in white, and most of the toilets are white in the stores.

Or will it all blend in? The room was painted about a week ago and I am touching up with the exact same paint. I have to touch up because I had to sand certain areas where the roller shedded a lot of hair...That's Value rollers for you!

There is no water leaks so why are they there? I repainted one of my bathroom walls and they didn't come back. Did someone get them wet when cleaning home before I moved into it?

We need to replace our old carpet, and we have 2 small dogs that occasionally pee on the carpet! So we would be able to replace soiled ones with the carpet tiles? Has anybody used them, and how did it work out for you?????

Since I am moving out, with two of my friends to a three bedroom house, I am debating whether to stick with my twin size bed or make some money to afford either:

A full size bed or a queen size bed?

I'm not in a relationship right now so I'm not expecting any guy to sleep in the same bed with me(I'm trying to hold that off until marriage lol).

Suggestions? THANKS!

Trying to attach backer board to subfloor. What adhesive is required? We have thinset mortar...will this work? My home improvment book says to apply "adhesive" so basically just trying to find out if they are the same thing or exchangable. Thanks!

Recently we bought a small house that has no decorating or life to it what so ever. I have a living area that is fairly small and is boxed like a normal bedroom. I'm hoping to remodel and add some style, however first I need some paint tips on what colors would suit a room like this. Inspirational lavenders and pinks are what I was hoping to paint however I want a almost dark hazelnut color in as well. These colors could be the total opposite of what I actually paint, but I need your help and ideas. thank you.

This is going to sound really stupid, but I have 3 brand new black light posters that I've had for the past week and nothing seems to work when I try hanging them on my walls. I've used putty, this sticky foam stuff, and some other type of poster hanging material. None of these work when hanging them up. They will stay for like 2 minutes and slowly begin falling again. Im so sick of this! I never new it would be so hard to hang a poster. haha Do any of you have any ideas? I'm trying to lean the opposite direction of just plain tape because I hate to damage my newly painted walls, however if its my last resort I will use this.

I have those cheap kitchen cupboards that are flat, no design. I put stainless steele handles on them a few years back and painted them blue, a bright blue. Now I'm ready for a change, but to what? My tile is white with gray/black grout. And my walls are white but can be painted too. Any suggestions PLEASE?

His bedding is made up of primary colors (blue, red, yellow, green, and orange). I feel like that makes it so hard to find a good color to paint the walls because those colors are so bold for a wall color, dont you think? Help PLEASE!
