Full size beds are 15" wider than twin beds and are 75" long while queen beds are 21" wider and 5" longer than a twin bed and 6" wider and 5" longer than full beds. Full beds provide 27" of sleep space per person while queen beds provide 30" of sleep space. Full beds may not be the best for people over 5'5, though.

The queen is larger.

It goes:

Twin (think: cot)
Full (ALMOST twice the size of a twin)
Queen (larger than a full by about 3 feet)
King (larger than a queen by about 3 feet)

(then the extra long ones)

full size is bigger than a single, but smaller than a queen size. if your sleeping with someone get the queen size. If it's for you or a guest bedroom that may have two guests you can get by with the full size
