We need to replace our old carpet, and we have 2 small dogs that occasionally pee on the carpet! So we would be able to replace soiled ones with the carpet tiles? Has anybody used them, and how did it work out for you?????

We have a doggy door, so they can go out when they want, but because the carpet has their scent, and if it's cold or wet outside, they would rather go on the capet!

There are two drawbacks. These carpet squares are adhered directly to the floor without padding and, although this would be a good, quick fix in the short term. After several years, all carpet will fade in color. The replacement square will be visible.

Personally, I would advise you to spend the extra money it would cost for new carpet squares on a very good extractor/carpet cleaning machine

My husband has used them for commercial buildings, and he recommends them for high-traffic use. You can readily replace the worn or stained ones. They are actually not less expensive than rolls of carpet, but for your use, you will probably want to consider the carpet tiles. What about a doggy door so the dogs can go out when they need to?!

when I was young, my dad used them to carpet the cement floor in our basement. I remember they lasted a long time. I'm sure they've been majorly improved since then, nicer styles, etc. Sounds like a good idea, if they're not too expensive & the style & color will be readily available.
