I have had this bed (see link below) and would like to paint it. It has the description of the wood. I know nothing about wood and painting. Would I use a finish? If it's not worth it or it would look funny, I'm just going to buy a different headboard. Thanks!

I mainly have family photos and some home interior displayed throughout my house. I really like the different decorations available at the Christian book stores,....but they are so high. Most of them are mainly scriptural - like things. I'm a pretty crafty person, so I thought I could possibly do some of my own. I just need ideas (pictures, wreaths, etc.). Do you know of any or a website with such?

I need some help from anyone who has replaced the Batting on their coushions. I've been looking around and Micheals has two different kinds to choose from. Batting for quilting and Batting for comforters, could i use any one of these? One is flater than the other. Anyone with any experience?
Also i'm going to replace the stuffing in the pillows, i was thinking about Poly-fil.

How do you make inexpensive things to start a fire in your fireplace? I have heard of rolling newspapers, etc. Any ideas with sawdust? Can you safely bind sawdust with wax or anything?
thanks, Norma R

I've read some nice reviews of MDF wood and I'm wondering where I can purchase it. What price range do 4' x 8' sheets come in? I checked the lowe's website but I couldn't find this product. Thank you.

This is a significant tile inlay design that I want to salvage as this building is about to be demolished. It would probably require cutting a section of stucco away from the existing structure. From there, I want to install this inlay on the side of a new building in which I'm relocating my business. Anyone have ideas on how to salvage, preserve and move this tile inlay?

I am looking for an unusual piece of furniture. It is a book shelf, approx. 6-7 ft tall. it would have a front that comes down and works as a table. When not in use it can be moved up and covers the book case as a door. Anyone ever see something like that? it would be perfect for linited space.
