You can get an etching kit from a hardware store. It's a little dangerous, though, so you'll have to take the directed precautions. For a less permanent solution there is the "frost in a can." And you should research "wallpaper" for windows, decorative clinging vinyl film, etc., even though you initially had misgivings. My favorite sites are: (1) http://stores.ebay.com/EzFauxDecor, and (2)http://www.glassdecorandmore.com

I used contact paper - it's easier to work with than window tint - it's cheaper too! You can find some that will match your bathroom and still will let a little sunshine through - but nobody can see you! Besides if you get tired of it, it's easy to change - unlike paint - that is a mess and basically permanent!

Go to your local Home Improvement Store and pick up a can of Frosting for Glass. It comes in a spray can, and is very effective in providing the privacy you desire without blocking the light. It is easy to apply, and cleans up with soap and water.

There is a spray that you can buy that achieves an opaque look. My mother used it in her bathroom and it looks great. Look for it in your local home improvement store like Lowes or Home Depot.

That's unfortunate, because in todays market there a numerous designs to choose from, or you could design your own.
You might wan to spray paint them, ther is a new product on the market which comes with a cleaner if you so desire to change the colour.
Good luck!!!!
